Youth Bill of Rights
Youth Bill of Rights
August 6, 2009
The Fall River Youth Bill of Rights is a way to express the Youth of Fall River’s needs to our government and adults in the city. The members of YOUth VOICE (Volunteer Organizations Initiating Community Engagement) have worked since March 19, 2009 to come up with an efficient bill that will help our youth in the future. YOUth VOICE includes members from Team FRESH (Fall River Extends Supportive Hands), Peaceful Coalition, PLOT, Youth Build, and BOLD/TADA. The five main points that the youth worked on are health, future, education, environment, and support. On August 6, 2009, the Youth Bill of Rights will be signed on the U.S.S. Massachusetts.
